Hello, my name is Olivine. I'm a priest of the God of Klein, and I enjoy helping others in my free time. I'm also a healer, so if you ever find yourself in need, please don't hesitate to seek me out for assistance or conversation or both.
I like to think myself quite easy to get along with, and I'm happy to make friends and acquaintances. I've been told I can be a little too optimistic sometimes, but I can't really help it. Ah, and I've been working on myself of late to become more self-confident, with the help of others around me.
For the moment, I'm just looking to make connections. If I can, I'd also like to find something to do with myself—I have experience with several creative endeavours.
I may not be able to offer much now, but I hope to become more helpful in the future. Please bear with me in the interim.
As I mentioned before, I'm a healer and a priest. I also know a fair bit of magic, at least how it works in my own world. On top of that, I enjoy painting and writing.
I have a penchant for trying new things, even when they may seem strange. I'm quite... resilient, when it comes to that.
Oh, I don't know. I like a lot of fantasy books, especially ones with intrigue and romance in them, as well as tomes and history books. I also quite enjoy church music, though... I suppose I just like music in general. Things that are pleasant to listen to and soothe the heart.
I haven't gotten a chance to experience much in the way of food, personally. I do love home-cooked meals and fresh breads, things that are flavourful and comforting.
Well... I think my ideal partner would be someone strong-willed, confident, and warm-hearted. Someone kind and understanding, who can accept me as I am.
Mm... and it wouldn't hurt if he was someone playful and a bit rough. I like it when I'm taken by surprise, in all senses of the word, by someone I trust. Of course... it's also best if they can handle a little playfulness in return.

[and then he's flopping on the bed, prompting a beleaguered sigh from the priest. So rude, Sylvain!! Of course, there's no hesitation in joining him—he keeps this place clean himself, so it's not like he doesn't know what to expect.
And, because Sylvain is going to be a brat, he scoots himself over to lay halfway on him, hand on the redhead's chest.]
Mm? I'm doing alright, really. I... certainly met a lot of people last month. Why?
no subject
Yeah, but we can't cuddle over a message. So this is much better.
[ Sylvain logic wins again. ]
Because you should have stacked up a pretty decent collection of hands by now. I turned some in this morning so I could move up out of the basement. You should, too. Especially because you're even more of a social butterfly than I am.
no subject
[that logic is flawed, sir.]
Out of the basement... mm. I'm not sure that my being a social butterfly has anything to do with where I am, you know. I get around quite fine. [but he's not shooting it down, not really.] I hadn't even really thought to check, honestly. This place isn't so bad, even when it's a little loud. Though... I do kind of want a place to cook.
no subject
I know some of the upper rooms have kitchens. You should look, see where you can get to. They come with bigger beds, too. [ He winks playfully, as if that should be incentive enough. ] Although this is rather cozy.
no subject
[a few months prior, he's sure he wouldn't be able to be like this. Not with anyone but Eiden, anyway. It feels... strange, but good.]
no subject
Right now, though, he's just grinning teasingly as he playfully pokes Olivine in the ribs. ]
Bigger bed means you can invite more people to it. Or maybe just bigger people. Can't say I'm going to miss my feet hanging off the end. It'll be nice to have a little more room to stretch out.
no subject
Olivine gives a little noise at the poke, rolling his eyes.]
You know, I don't think I know many people bigger than you. And— [he shifts a little to look upward at Sylvain without dislodging his chin from the top of his head.] I'm not sure how many people I would invite together, either. I'm admittedly not sure how well most people get along.
Anyway, I think I can check it on the Watch now, if you wanted... maybe I can join you on the same floor.
[oh boy.]
no subject
I suppose that’s true enough. We can always figure that part out later.
[ His face lights up, though, when Olivine goes to check his watch. ] Maybe you could! I’m up on 7 now. That would be, what, five ranks for you?
no subject
Yes, true. Is it covering you've been thinking for a while? Am I getting to be too much for you~?
[He clearly doesn't think this is the case. Of course, he also... freezes when he registers the floor number, staring at his watch still. He's been there a few times now, and it's less intense, but to his guilt, he'd still glanced at that door on the way.]
Ah. [It was far too long a pause, brows furrowing.] It... would, yes. Sorry, I—
[He's not sure why it's affecting him so much to think about being on that floor permanently. After all, he's been there for trysts and it was fine... mostly fine.]
no subject
Hey. What is it?
no subject
No, it's—nothing major. I should get used to that floor anyway... I'm just not sure I could stay there myself yet.
[He could explain why, but his brain is currently resolving crisis mode still. It won't take long anyway, if the comment doesn't jar Sylvain's memory of those months ago.]
no subject
Which is why he’s not giving up so easily, despite that very unconvincing smile the priest shoots him. ]
Okay, what don’t I know about the seventh floor? What happened, Olivine?
no subject
Olivine just blinks once or twice, shaking his head.]
Nothing happened, really. [a soft sigh, as he reaches to take Sylvain's hand.] It's just... I'm still not over Eiden's disappearance, I suppose.
no subject
and so did IBut the mention of Eiden is finally enough to jar that memory lose and he drops his head to rest against Olivine’s shoulder as he huffs out a breath. ]
Goddess, I’m an idiot. Eiden was a 7. I’m so sorry, Olivine.
no subject
It's alright. I... I'm a lot better now than I was, at least. I don't find myself wandering there on my own anymore, at least. [It's major progress for him, at least. And he'd only had a brief reaction when Basch had taken him up to the floor.] Having more reasons to be there will probably be best, I just don't think I could stay there.
no subject
[ He wraps an arm around him, drawing him close against his chest and presses a kiss to his forehead this time. ]
Then move where you can this time around and I’ll plan the next jump better. At least get out of the basement, would you? Come upstairs - any floor you want. You know I will happily come bother you no matter what floor you’re on.
no subject
[Exhaling a laugh, Olivine tilts his head enough to press a kiss to the taller man's neck. His arms slide around his waist, holding close.]
I'll see where I can go, though. Maybe I can get to the upper floors so I can actually make you a meal somewhere you can visit, sometime.
no subject
But that is a goal, eventually. It would be nice not to have to go out for every meal, if I want to be lazy in my room instead. Or just make something familiar.
[ But he doubts he’ll have much of a problem ranking up enough to go higher. He just wants to make sure those important to him can do the same. ]
no subject
Mm, it's definitely nice to have a place to go for it. Before, I would just go down to the church kitchens, so it wasn't so bad. [certainly not as bad as trekking it up all the steps and taking the elevator to rei's king suite.] But—if you really did want to make something for me, I would be flattered. When we figure out where I can go.
[maybe he will spring for a 9 or 10... though he knows from Zoro that 10s have their own issues getting around...]
no subject
[ he prods playfully at Olivine’s arm. ]
I’ll even volunteer to help you cart your stuff upstairs.
no subject
[honestly that's not entirely something he's unused to, but it is good to know. and he only knows about 9s from Ragna, who himself is a two, so... hm.]
I wouldn't mind a little help, but I think I can carry most of it too. The stuff here isn't as heavy as some of the baskets of melons I'm used to carrying around in the summers. [still lying under Sylvain as he is, he reaches to brush the taller man's hair back.] How long did it take them to move you, anyway?
no subject
[ Sylvain doesn't really know many people up that high, so this is the first time he's hearing this. Though he's seen some of the flurries around the face ranks a few times now - usually that was in the casino, though. he hadn't realized that continued... well. Everywhere. ]
Go wherever you're comfortable with, Olivine. I can try and chase people away if you need it. And considering I only really have a few sets of clothes, I managed it in one trip. [ he wasn't really someone who bothered with a lot of possessions. ]
no subject
[He squeezes Sylvain's hand appreciatively, laughing.]
Thank you... I think I'd be okay, it's just worth knowing it'll happen. And—I meant how long it was between you making the request and it being granted. [you nerd.] I'm glad it was painless though.
no subject
[ Technology continues to be beyond him. Completely. ]
no subject
[preventing him. Like Olivine couldn't get him to get up if he really wanted to... and more still, he just... likes laying this way. Connected, without any implication or expectation.]
