CHARACTER SUMMARY

Olivine is, first and foremost, a kind person. As a priest, he's spent much of his life helping the people of his city and visitors alike, providing all sorts of services. Anything from helping the elderly to carrying heavy loads for individuals to writing and illustrating books for children and teaching them besides, Olivine does. He seems to have boundless energy for it, and just talking with people seems able to charge him further. On top of that, he's quite non-judgmental, preferring to understand things from others' perspectives. It makes him a little harder to dislike, since he's so earnest about it.

He's slow to anger and fairly docile, though if someone he cares about is threatened, there are no lengths he wouldn't go to in order to protect them. Even if that means beating someone unconscious with nothing more than a copy of a book, he's a fierce fighter. He's not particularly likely to win over those with far more skill than he, but it will definitely not be without a fight.

Privately, his insecurities start to shine through. Olivine has no shortage of guilt over disappointing his parents and the church, especially given some of the actions he'd taken prior to meeting Eiden. He has a terrible habit of overworking himself for the sake of others, especially if he feels like it's too much effort to bother them or he's the only one who can do so. More even than these are his nigh insatiable desires, the want to pursue a life he could never publicly have. He's deeply sexual and masochistic, and while Eiden's existence (and that of the other Clan Members) have helped him move past his shame regarding it, some still exists.
