My Self-Summary

Hello, my name is Olivine. I'm a priest of the God of Klein, and I enjoy helping others in my free time. I'm also a healer, so if you ever find yourself in need, please don't hesitate to seek me out for assistance or conversation or both.

I like to think myself quite easy to get along with, and I'm happy to make friends and acquaintances. I've been told I can be a little too optimistic sometimes, but I can't really help it. Ah, and I've been working on myself of late to become more self-confident, with the help of others around me.

My Future Plans

For the moment, I'm just looking to make connections. If I can, I'd also like to find something to do with myself—I have experience with several creative endeavours.

I may not be able to offer much now, but I hope to become more helpful in the future. Please bear with me in the interim.

My Talents

As I mentioned before, I'm a healer and a priest. I also know a fair bit of magic, at least how it works in my own world. On top of that, I enjoy painting and writing.

I have a penchant for trying new things, even when they may seem strange. I'm quite... resilient, when it comes to that.

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and Food

Oh, I don't know. I like a lot of fantasy books, especially ones with intrigue and romance in them, as well as tomes and history books. I also quite enjoy church music, though... I suppose I just like music in general. Things that are pleasant to listen to and soothe the heart.

I haven't gotten a chance to experience much in the way of food, personally. I do love home-cooked meals and fresh breads, things that are flavourful and comforting.

My Ideal Partner

Well... I think my ideal partner would be someone strong-willed, confident, and warm-hearted. Someone kind and understanding, who can accept me as I am.

Mm... and it wouldn't hurt if he was someone playful and a bit rough. I like it when I'm taken by surprise, in all senses of the word, by someone I trust. Of course... it's also best if they can handle a little playfulness in return.

[ It doesn't take him long to get there, more than familiar with where Olivine lives at this point. Yes, Cale is more than aware of the fact that he might have pushed his limits a bit with the frequent ancient power usage. What could he do though? If it was wet and cold, the easiest thing to do had been to light a fire and use wind to dry himself ( and anyone nearby ) off. Then there had been the stuff with the moon and someone jumping at him from the trees -

Well, whatever the case, there had just been circumstances. Now he's paying the price, feeling far more exhausted than he normally would be. Hence the purposeful tapping on the door.

[to be honest, Olivine has foolishly expected just that, so he's surprised by the knock at the door for all of like... three seconds. Despite that, it doesn't take him long to open the door, smiling like he so often does and reaching forward to take Cale's hand and urge him in.]

Come, we can sit on the couch.

[He can feel it, this time. The way Cale's energies war with each other isn't the same as chaotic essence, but it certainly manages to feel similarly unsettling. If Olivine didn't know Cale is used to this, he might be much more panicked.

But since he does, he'll just be quick to lead the redhead to the couch. There are a handful of snacks, both sweet and savory, laid out across the little table, alongside water and a partial glass of juice.]

Is there anything that would help you immediately?

[ Look. Cale will always and forever say that he is the problem. That he is selfish and rude and doesn’t really deal with manners. Yet he acts like this, knocking on a door instead of recklessly barging in. Noe of course he stands there and looks like he is impatient and the like, but Cale is a hard read by expressions alone.

So Olivine taking him by the hand is. Hmm. Cale is used to the physical contact. He kind of finds some relief in it, really.

Cale sits on the couch, humming in thought. Immediate needs -]

Rest and not using any of my powers is an immediate solution, of course. That will guarantee I don’t end up in some kind of way. I have been doing that, of course.

[ But it doesn’t do anything to settle those energies. ]

That isn't quite what I meant, Cale. [smiling wryly, Olivine settles with him on the couch. He's pretty sure the other man is being at least a little obtuse—but he can deal with that, anyway.] You shouldn't need to use any of your powers while you're here, yes. Especially before I've had a chance to assess how imbalanced they are.

[It really is unsettling, feeling the way they war somewhere just beneath the surface. So like essence, and still not at all, too.]

[ The obtuse isn’t anything he’s doing on purpose. Cale genuinely believes that Olivine is inquiring about what can be done in immediate circumstances without treatment. “Treatment” being… The obvious at this point. ]

Then… What are you asking?

[He'll figure Cale out a little at a time, at least. One day at a time. The earnest question in response is enough to at least clue him in on a little of it.]

Well... for me, things like circular breathing or certain teas can help me feel a little more comfortable. Certain types of ropework, as well. [Olivine, what??] I wanted to know if there's anything like that for you, before potentially stressing your body over realigning energies.
