Hello, my name is Olivine. I'm a priest of the God of Klein, and I enjoy helping others in my free time. I'm also a healer, so if you ever find yourself in need, please don't hesitate to seek me out for assistance or conversation or both.
I like to think myself quite easy to get along with, and I'm happy to make friends and acquaintances. I've been told I can be a little too optimistic sometimes, but I can't really help it. Ah, and I've been working on myself of late to become more self-confident, with the help of others around me.
For the moment, I'm just looking to make connections. If I can, I'd also like to find something to do with myself—I have experience with several creative endeavours.
I may not be able to offer much now, but I hope to become more helpful in the future. Please bear with me in the interim.
As I mentioned before, I'm a healer and a priest. I also know a fair bit of magic, at least how it works in my own world. On top of that, I enjoy painting and writing.
I have a penchant for trying new things, even when they may seem strange. I'm quite... resilient, when it comes to that.
Oh, I don't know. I like a lot of fantasy books, especially ones with intrigue and romance in them, as well as tomes and history books. I also quite enjoy church music, though... I suppose I just like music in general. Things that are pleasant to listen to and soothe the heart.
I haven't gotten a chance to experience much in the way of food, personally. I do love home-cooked meals and fresh breads, things that are flavourful and comforting.
Well... I think my ideal partner would be someone strong-willed, confident, and warm-hearted. Someone kind and understanding, who can accept me as I am.
Mm... and it wouldn't hurt if he was someone playful and a bit rough. I like it when I'm taken by surprise, in all senses of the word, by someone I trust. Of course... it's also best if they can handle a little playfulness in return.

[Brad is dressed nicely and is humming to himself as he steps into the food court. It doesn't take long for him to spot Olivine, and he grins as he steps over to the other man.]
Hey there! Feelin' hungry?
no subject
Hello again, Bradley. I've certainly kept my appetite for the occasion. [hehe.] where shall we try?
no subject
After some consideration, he gives an answer.]
Y'know, I've seen this stuff that's beans, cheese, and meat wrapped up in a bread-shell. How about we try that?
[He's talking about burritos. He has never had a burrito in his life.]

Beans, cheese and meat in a bread shell...? It sounds terribly intriguing, and I don't think I've seen the stalls with them yet. Please, lead the way.
no subject
[They both get to taste burritos for the first time...truly a moment of bonding.
He'll lead Olivine to the stall, which indeed has burritos. There's the standard one like Brad described, but there's also a few that have fire symbols next to their names. Extra spicy is indeed an option if Olivine can handle spice.]
Which one are you picking?
no subject
Ah... I'm not sure. Maybe the... barbacoa? It sounds quite flavorful. Though to be honest, they all sound wonderful...
no subject
[He's going to order the chicken, which was one of the milder ones. He can take spice too but maybe not today, it doesn't always agree with him.]
It looks like they can make 'em fast too, since everything's cooked already.
no subject
[He's just as enthusiastic about learning about food as anything else, too. And does decide on the barbacoa, leaning forward a little to watch as their food is made.]
no subject
[Now he needs to track down someone making forever soup here. While the modern-ness of everything has been nice, he does miss those old world comfort foods.
He'll lean in to watch the making process too, though when they get to the vegetables Bradley is quick to pass on those.]
None of that green stuff in mine, I just want the good stuff.
no subject
[other cultures and their ways have always fascinated him, of course. He'll certainly listen to anyone ramble on about where they're from...
But as Bradley turns down the vegetables, he has to laugh a little.]
I didn't expect you to be the kind to dislike vegetables, honestly. Is it just the green ones?
[frankly, he quite likes vegetables, himself. And the rice and beans all seem well suited to a hearty, filling meal.]
no subject
[Brad has the taste palette of a child, confirmed.]
Potatoes 'n carrots are okay in stews but that's about it. You don't need 'em anyway as long as you eat fruits.
[He'll eat beans though, which to him doesn't really count as a vegetable. His burrito is wrapped up quickly, and he'll grab his while he waits for Olivine's order to be finished.]
no subject
Well, it is possible to find all the same nutrients without vegetables... but many vegetables offer a much better source of them. If you don't like them and you're not feeling unwell, though, I have no reason to lecture you on your tastes.
[soon thereafter, the second burrito is wrapped up and handed over, and as he takes it, the priest chuckles.]
I suppose I must seem pretty strange, though—I've liked the taste of them since I was young. In any case, though—where shall we sit to eat?
